Praise Dance for a Healthier You, Physically and Spiritually!

Dance your way into a healthier heart, increase your flexibility, strengthen, tone and lose weight.

Mondays 7:30 - 9:00 PM

PSALMS 30:11 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,

Dance, Dance, Dance.

All physical activity adds up to a healthier heart. Dance your way to a healthier heart.

Start with stretching and warm up.   If done properly, stretching increases flexibility and this directly translates into reduced risk of injury.

Stretching is just the ticket to increase your mobility and range of motion without the intense effort of exercising.  It means you will be able to reach farther, bend over easier and prevent those occasional injuries that seem to occur for no reason.  Stretching can make your body feel better and more relaxed.

Stretching lengthens the muscles and creates more mobility in anyone.  As we grow older, a lack of stretching will only keep the muscles in their present condition or shorten them.

PSALMS  9:1 I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.

PSALMS 150:4 praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute,

Move, move, move praise dancing is low impact.   Finding an activity you really like is key to losing weight and  being able to stick with it over time is key to maintaining a healthy weight. Regular exercise can help you prevent — or manage — high blood pressure.

Being at a healthy weight can reduce your risk of weight-related diseases, such as coronary artery disease, sleep apnea, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and stroke.

Your cholesterol will benefit, too. Regular exercise boosts high-density lipoprotein (HDL), or "good," cholesterol while decreasing low-density lipoprotein (LDL), or "bad," cholesterol. This one-two punch keeps your blood flowing smoothly by lowering the buildup of plaques in your arteries.

PSALMS 149:3 Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp.
